i'm so charmed by michelle caplan's work. its collage-style is humorous, eerie and beautiful. and when you meet her, she's just adorable. i own one of michelle's pieces and i smile everytime i see the vintage photo of two ladies in swimsuits layered atop old newspaper ads.

lucky angelenos can see her work at her one woman show 'pieces of us' at the regneration gallery--it opens this weekend. there will be an artist's reception this saturday, september 8th, 6-10 pm
